Love in the Month of the Earth Ox
Did you know that the month of the Earth Ox is the last month of the Rat year?
Here are a few tips to spice up your love life.
The Month of the Earth Ox begins January 13th, 2021
However blunt and straightforward Ox is about some things, they sure are hush-hush about their feelings. But here’s the thing. Intimacy (INTO ME SEE) is all about sharing your inner experience. So this month you might need to push yourself to get your emotions out in the open. That is, if you want to feel close to your sweetie. Or you want to bond with your crush. Which I’m betting you do!
Another thing to keep in mind. When Ox is healthy, they’re as loyal as they come. But when they’re not, they can get a wee bit possessive. No problem if you have those feelings this month. But you may not want to act on them. Instead, why not check in with yourself? Sometimes we get clingy when we’re feeling insecure. Or sometimes it’s because we’re afraid of being rejected. Whatever the reason, a little self-soothing could go a long way. That’s step numero one. Step number two might be telling your main squeeze how you’re feeling. Yep. Time to get vulnerable! I know, I know. Talking about emotions isn’t easy during Ox month. But it’s bound to create a deeper connection!
Okay. Now let’s talk a little bit about vanilla. Why? Because it’s the flavor of the month, of course. Yep. Ox is a traditionalist. They like to take the path most trotted upon. It keeps things stable. Nothing wrong with that. Consider it a break from the usual hubbub. It’s back to the basics now. The simple things. Kind of like pressing the restart button. Heart-thumping dates, wild lovers and crazy lovemaking can wait for Tiger month. Right now it’s you, your special someone, Netflix and the couch. Don’t forget the popcorn!
Oh, let’s not forget. Ox is nothing if not dependable. They know that following through and keeping their word is how trust gets built. And what’s love without trust? Kind of like a building with no foundation. Ready to topple at any moment! So right now it’s all about integrity. First date? Give yourself plenty of time to get there on time. 100th date? Why not do the same? No need to make this a one-month intention though. See, reliability develops when someone is there for you over and over and over and…get the picture? So if someone only shows up part of the time, it might be worth it to have a conversation with them. Or reevaluate the relationship altogether. Ox doesn’t settle for anything half-hearted. And neither should you!
